Since 1911, The Friar Society has recognized students, staff, and faculty members who have made significant contributions to The University of Texas. In addition to being the oldest honor society at UT-Austin, The Friars are a multi-generational philanthropic organization with various endowments housed within The Texas Exes Organization. Active student members work in tandem with The Friar Society Alumni Network to host reunion weekends every spring and fall on campus.
