The student Chapter of the International City Managers Association at the University of Texas at Austin will serve as a central hub for students and others interested in local governance and in building a career in city management. ICMA@UT will organize networking opportunities such as informal gatherings, panels, and larger events with local city manager practitioners to expose members to opportunities in city government, internship and career opportunities, and the challenges facing cities. We will also embark on service projects in order to connect with different city agencies and offer our labor in helping city agencies fulfill their missions.
