In Between the Lines
International & Multicultural
In Between the Lines is a place to read and discuss books with others! We meet once a week, and every other meeting is social-oriented.
What do we read? Whatever you can get elected! Nonfiction, fantasy, YA, classics, a thirty-year-old manifesto written by a man who thought he could travel to the moon by chugging toothpaste…
We choose books and short stories designed to be cost-accessible and generally less than 400 pages long. If you can stay within those parameters and win a vote, we’ll read it.
This is a place to kick back, beef about books you hate, bloviate about books you love, and meet the people who are happy to listen. If you’ve been meaning to do more reading, or are an avid reader already, In Between the Lines could be your place at UT. Don’t be shy! Or do be shy, and check out a meeting— shyly!

We have a Slack where we post updates and talk about the group! This is the best way to get information and stay connected with other members and the officers: Join here!
