The International Student Mentorship Program at UT (“ISMP at UT”) is intended to provide guidance for international students by connecting them to mentorship opportunities, a community among international students, and resources such as helpful workshops and webinars. For example, new students can be matched with an upperclassman, graduate student, UT staff, UT alumnus and/or working professional in Austin, TX, where the mentor will aim to meet weekly for a period of a few weeks (subject to the mentee’s preferences) to help the mentee navigate through their college and graduate school experience at UT Austin. This organization is the UT Austin chapter of International Student Mentorship Program, a nonprofit Christian organization, though the group is open to members of any religious background or affiliation.
