The OUR UT Mentors is a new program that uses sophomore students that previously participated in the OUR UT program to act as mentors to incoming freshmen. Their responsibilities include assisting new OUR UT participants with acclimatizing to the university both academically and socially. Mentors meet with their mentees at least bi-weekly throughout the school year. Their activities are tied to the five themes of 360 Connections. In addition, mentors also continue their involvement with research projects being run through the DoS Research Institute (DRI).
