PGLETS seeks to connect law students with resources and practitioners regarding probate, estate planning, wealth management, guardianship, fiduciary litigation, and civil commitment law. PGLETS aims to inspire young attorneys to explore careers in probate practice, increase access to opportunities in these practice areas, and provide a point of contact between law students and the probate community. PGLETS also aims to create a strong culture of participation in pro bono and ad litem work among graduating probate attorneys, as well as provide grassroots legal education within the community about how awareness of these areas of the law can protect an individual’s financial security, wellbeing, and civil rights.
