What is SIG? The Sustainability Investment Group is the premier sustainability and finance group at UT. SIG offers students the opportunity to become leaders in social impact, environmental action, and community investment through their one of a kind curriculum. SIG operates an Austin based impact investing group that injects in local businesses and startups, as well as a public securities based portfolio. Both of these are managed by students and alumni advisors. How to join. All our positions are open to any and all majors. Our fellowship is open to freshman and is a unique experience that teaches you about how sustainability functions in business. Fellows also get the opportunity to interact and work with alumni advisors and sponsors, as well as lead SIG's research group. Our analyst role is open to sophomores and older, and is an opportunity to learn the intricacies of fund management and sustainable finance. Our application will be available in August and will launch on our website and Instagram. Alumni & other opportunities.
