Texas Performing Arts serves The University of Texas at Austin campus and the Austin community at large through a diverse season of international performances, campus and community engagement activities, and collaborative partnerships. Performances include classical music, jazz, world music, modern and international dance, and conversation. Comprised of six state-of-the-art theatres, Texas Performing Arts presents, produces, and commissions global culture experiences otherwise unavailable locally to the Central Texas community.
Student programs at Texas Performing Arts include Hook 'em Arts (our student group), $10 student tickets to our fine arts series, the Texas Performing Arts Package (access to $10 tickets to all shows, including Broadway), student employement, and volunteer opportunities.
