The University of Texas Dance Team is the official competitive dance team at the University of Texas at Austin. It is a spirit and athletic organization under the Texas Recreational Sports Program (RecSports). Focusing on jazz and hip-hop, the team typically hosts a seasonal showcase, appears in multiple events on the Forty Acres as representatives of UT Austin, and attends local and nationalcompetitions, including NDA Camp, ADTS College Classic, and NDA Nationals.
