The Wealth Management Student Organization is the affiliated student organization of the Wealth Management Center at the McCombs School of Business. We support the development and career prospects of students interested in wealth management so they may empower themselves and others to take control of their finances and lead fulfilling lives.
"Spread the wealth" is a slogan we live by, and through a friendly and welcoming environment, our events develop members professionally, educate them on personal finance, and connect students with similar interests. We do our part to develop the next generation of wealth managers, prepare students for life after college, and tackle the lack of personal financial education offered to them.
Our events are typically each Thursday from 6-7 PM and consist of company nights, case studies, workshops, and socials. At the beginning of each semester, we hold information sessions where we share further details to prospective members. The dates and locations of these information sessions will be shared on our newsletter and Instagram, @wmso.tx.
