The mission of Graduate NSSLHA at New York University is to promote awareness of speech and language pathology and audiology as a profession and enrich the knowledge of graduate students. NSSLHA encourages professional interest among college and university students in the study of Communicative Sciences and Disorders, spreads professional information and awareness, and provides a means for student representation in matters of professional concern. NSSLHA hosts monthly meetings, social activities, service opportunities, professional panels, and participates in legislative action. The NYU Chapter is a recognized local chapter of NSSLHA and serves as a liaison with the national organization of ASHA.
