As an organization, we aim to provide new opportunities to students interested in varying degrees of the industry, through our multi-faceted programming. While we are an organization rooted in empowering women and non-binary individuals, we open our doors to any members interested in pursuing a career in the music industry. We hope this can create not only professional connections but also a support system of lifelong friendships. With our unique array of professional programming stemming from panel discussions featuring music industry executives, collaborative songwriting roundtable workshops, and post-grad information sessions, we hope to break down the many barriers that have resulted in the current state of the industry. At She Is The Music: NYU, we firmly believe that change begins with us, and we are ready to make big waves in the industry.
