SLAM! at NYU -- the exclamation point says it all. This is the official slam poetry club and team. We clap back weekly (as in weekly meetings). It's a completely open space, so even if you just wanna chill and watch good stuff without performing, we got you.
We watch poetry, read poetry, write poetry, and give amazing feedback (or just snap and "mhm" if that's all you want)! You can also compete to be on the team that we send to the College Unions Poetry Slam (CUPSI) every year. We are proud to have won first place at CUPSI in 2012, 2013, and 2015, 2017, and 2018. Come check us out!
