Do you like organizing and planning fundraisers for different causes?
No matter your academic interests, the Student Council’s Community Service committee might be right for you! We help in planning community service events, fundraisers and activities for the entire SPS community to help benefit the local community. Not only do we help in creating or arranging these events, but we also work together to promote them on a school wide level with the Council. In the Community Service Committee, there is something here for everyone to be a part of and enjoy as we all give back together!
Student Council Community Service Committee Members are responsible for:
• Attending bi-weekly, weekly, or as-needed meetings of the Committee
• Assisting in brainstorming, developing, and producing of all fundraising and community service related events appointed to the Committee by the Council
• Promoting these Committee’s events, fundraisers or benefits amongst colleagues and peers through word of mouth and social media
• Communicating with the Community Service Committee Chair to remain knowledgeable about the ongoing events and programs of the Committee
• Aiding the Chairs with tasks as he/she deems necessary
• Producing SPS community service events, fundraisers or activities that are to the satisfaction of the attending student body.
